About Concho CAN!
Concho is a rural section of Northeastern Arizona, located in Apache County. Due to its rugged geography, residents are significantly impacted by isolation and, as a result, lack a sense of community. Despite its sustained growth, Concho has no high school, no restaurants, no grocers, and no business district. Residents must seek resources in surrounding areas, which has resulted in critical fragmentation of community well being.
The non profit organization Concho CAN! was created to help the community of Concho overcome these obstacles. Concho CAN! is dedicated to increasing the availability of resources, expanding local opportunities and developing a sense of community well being in rural Concho. The Concho CAN! Board of Directors seeks funding from local, state, and national organizations, as well as independent contributors to aid in the achievement of these goals.
